Artful Delight kits: Just Roll With It

Isn't this Paper Smooches scooter adorable?  This card is 100% Artful Delight.  All of the card stock, pretty papers, stamps,  ribbon, and button are from the February Artful Delight card kit.  The "headlight" (MME rhinestone) is from the January Artful Delight card kit.  These kits are seriously full of fabulous *new* papers and embellishments.  I have made five cards from the February kit and I can barely tell that I have made a dent in it.  Please hop on over to the Artful Delight blog for more inspiration!

Shopping Our Stash - sentiment challenge

This is my farewell post for Shopping Our Stash, but I sincerely hope that it is not "goodbye."  I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with my SOS DT sisters.  If I had a nickel for every time I have said,"I'm not buying any more...I am just gonna use what I have."  This is the genius behind Shopping Our Stash challenge blog.

For my card I chose to use BasicGrey "Green at Heart" collection.  I purchased these papers a couple of years ago.  My Tilda was sent to me by my blog friend, Chris Dark, a few years ago.  I haven't colored a Tilda in a while, so I wanted to choose a Tilda image.  The sketch is last week's Mojo Monday sketch #229.  To complete the challenge I chose a sentiment from My Pink Stamper "Sympathy & Comfort."

Now it's your turn...create a card, LO, or project with a sentiment and link it at Shopping Our Stash.

Happy Tuesday!

Illustrated Garden Inspiration challenge

What inspires you in this illustration?  For me it was the yellows, greens, and pinks and the feeling of Springtime...butterflies busy preparing for a new beginning.  This is the current challenge at Shopping Our Stash:  use the picture, colors, subject, etc. as your inspiration.  Create a card, LO, or project and link it to Shopping Our Stash challenge #40.

  I created an invitation card:
I shopped my stash for items that remind me of Spring.  I chose coral, tropical green, and vanilla card stick, heavy vellum, and K&Co. Sera Sera paper.  My sentiment is by Anna Griffin and my gems are by Imaginisce.  Only the beautiful crinkle ribbon is relatively new.  This was my first ever easy purchase.  Stop by ScrapinKris and tell her that June sent you!

Happy Saturday!

Shop Pumpkin Spice for Echo Park

Nearly everything on this card came from Shop Pumpkin Spice online store.  Aren't these papers elegant?   They are from Echo Park's "Yours Truly" collection.  My sentiment is by My Pink Stamper "Sweet Goodness" set.  I also used "charcoal" twine from The Twinery, a doily from the Shop Pumpkin Spice January card kit, and glossy accents.

It's been a while since I made a cupcake card and I wanted to play with my "Love You a Latte" Cricut cartridge; this strawberry cupcake is on that cartridge!   Only the button, black card stock, textured ivory card stock, and "Heart Blocks" embossing folder came from my stash.  The rest was all purchased from Shop Pumpkin Spice.

Happy Thursday!

You're Just My Type, Artful Delight

I have an affinity to cards with either typewriter messages or scooters.  Both are in this month's Artful Delight card kit!  There is a Paper Smooches stamp set with two scooter stamps and two 6x6 sheets of typewriters; I fussy cut this one out twice and popped one atop the other.  I die cut the oval from the linen sticker paper in the kit; it cuts beautifully!  The ivory twill is also included in the kit as well as all four patterned papers pictured above.

This kit sold out quickly, but if you would like to purchase it, please email Leeanne.  For more inspiration, please go to the Artful Delight blog.

My Pink Stamper - February challenge - How many can you use?

Robyn, aka My Pink Stamper, has inspired me to do more scrapbooking for 2012.  These are a few of the first photos of me; I am slowly peeling them out of the magnetic album they have been stuck in for 45 years :)  My LO is for this month's My Pink Stamper challenge:

How many can you use?
Use as many My Pink Stamper
 stamps from any set(s)
on ONE project.

I chose to use three stamps from one of my favorite My Pink Stamper sets "Sweet Baby."  My Cricut cuts are all from "Straight from the Nest" (onesies, grass, and flower.)  Go to My Pink Stamper to see more inspiration from my sweet and talented DT sisters.

Happy Tuesday!

Just a Note: Artful Delight kits are so much fun!

As usual, I am having a blast with my monthly kit from Artful Delight.  The fun background plaid, the floral print, and the solid pink are Little Yellow Bicycle "Paradise" papers included in the February Artful Delight kit.  The linen sticker paper is easy to work with too (horizontal strip).  The typewriter is fussy cut (twice) from Jillibean Soup "Sweet & Sour Soup" papers included in the February Artful Delight kit.

I added just a few things from my personal stash:  a Martha Stewart tag (doily), 3 silver brads, and some My Mind's Eye "Life of the Party" Happy Day twine.  I used the MFT sketch from last month, #56.

For more delightful inspiration, check out the Artful Delight blog.  Enter to win next month's Artful Delight kit by playing along with the monthly sketch challenge (link to right-hand side bar at the Artful Delight blog.)

Shop Pumpkin Spice for My Mind's Eye collections

I created this card with various papers from My Mind's Eye "Lost & Found Two" and "Lost & Found Christmas" collections and embellishments that I purchased from Shop Pumpkin Spice.  I am addicted to that store :)

The three hearts were cut with my Cricut; I outlined the heart at the bottom with Stickles to add a little bling since the other two hearts are cut from glitter paper.

If you love My Mind's Eye products, be sure to check out the Shop Pumpkin Spice store to save 30% or more on your favorite paper crafting supplies; shipping is really low (and free for purchases over $50!)

Here are my card details (links embedded):

Shopping Our Stash #38- Valentines

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash #38 is Valentines, Hearts, or Lace.  I think I managed all three if you count the lace pennant paper :)

My papers are My Mind's Eye "Love Me."  I used the Mojo Monday Sketch #225:

I used my paper piercer, needle, and white floss to "ground" the rectangles with a little cross-stitch:
My card base is my last blue DCWV card base...I love using up old stash :)

What's in your stash?  Create a card with hearts, lace, or a valentine; link up at Shopping Our Stash #38.

Scooting by to say hi, Artful Delight

I have always wanted a scooter stamp.  This scooter and sentiment are in the "Spiffy Scooters" stamp set by Paper Smooches.  This stamp set is included in the February Artful Delight card kit, as are the pretty "Paradise" papers by Little Yellow Bicycle, the plaid "Cool Beans" Jillibean Soup button, and the linen sticker paper (horizontal strip).  The chipboard clouds are actually from the January Artful Delight kit and the brown Bazzill card stock (base card) was included in a few of the 2011 Artful Delight kits.

I currently own eight monthly kits from Artful Delight and I have made at least five cards from each kit...and I have so many scraps left to play with; I can hardly tell that I have made a dent in each kit.  If you are a frugal crafter like me, I think you will be thrilled with Artful Delight kits.
