CAS Happy Graduation

I made this CAS (clean & simple) card for this week's "CAS" challenge at Jacksonbelle Embellishments and for this week's "celebrate something" challenge at Stamp Something.

I found this designer paper (from Hobby Lobby). I knew it would be perfect for a little mass production of graduation cards. I layered it on black card stock and red linen, then mounted on a white card base (Value Pack/Recollections from Michael's). I stamped the quote on white card stock and used my ticket punch (all SU!), then layered on black card stock and ticket punched opposite corners. I wanted to mimic the red ribbons in the designer paper, so I fussy cut one from a skinny scrap of red linen card stock. I added dimensionals to this panel for interest. From two sheets of this 8.5"x11" designer paper I eeked out 8 cards :)

I am on a roll...off to make some more cards. Happy Saturday!

Oh, I love what you did with stamp to give it such a unique look---using the ticket punch on only two corners, just brilliant (as I would expect;) )

What a super card June!!! I love this paper and the sentiment is absolutely perfect. You're right, easy to mass produce yet it doesn't look simple at all, very striking!! TFS :)

ok, i love that this IS indeed c&s...but it's soooo full of dimension and movement and interest that it doesn't feel remotely PLAIN or BORING! (when i try c&s i get p&b!!!)

this is indeed a PERFECT mass-producing grad card...and all b/c you REALLY REALLY know what paper to buy and how to USE it!!!!!!!! :)
