Give that candle a facelift! Did I mention blog candy?

Good morning! Today is HoneyBee Showcase Wednesday at Betty Bee's Buzz. Our inspiration this week is to give our candles a facelift.
I found this frosted glass candle in my closet and I added some SU rub-ons to make it a little more festive.
This candle came from the same closet. I stamped on tissue paper with various stamps and die inks, then I adhered the tissue paper to the candle with my heat gun.

Please check out Betty Bee's Buzz. Here are the hive-lights:
Motivation Monday: new inspirational tutorials every week
HoneyBee Showcase Wednesday: samples by the HoneyBees (our take on the tutorial)
Buzz & Brag Fridays: sharing good news...YOU can share what good things are going on in your hives or something fun you created this week

And there is honey at the hive...blog candy up for grabs!
HOW TO BE CONSIDERED: Just leave us a comment or two or ten at Betty Bee's Buzz, and if you post a project, or become a follower, that would be really nice, too. We'll count them all up, and put them in a bonnet, and draw a winner! We'll choose a winner on Monday night, November 15th (really late, so you can comment on that day's Monday Motivation!!!). Any questions?
PS. Don't forget that we have a link from Thur. for you to post your Halloween Costume photos! We want to see them, and they count toward the blog candy, too!!!

Oh my good golly!!! Those two projects are wonderful, and probably quick to put together. I have been wondering - and apparently too busy/lazy? - to research how to safely alter candles. Search no more!!!! Stamping on tissue paper, yay, and yours came out so great!! <3 to my Junebug!

I love giving something old a new face lift. I know I have a few candles that need a little something added. This is a great project for my Thanksgiving table scaping. Thanks for sharing.
