I used my paper piercer, needle, and white floss to "ground" the rectangles with a little cross-stitch:

This is a beautiful Valentine card! I really like how you did the cross stitch in the corners.

Love this card, June - great minds think alike on the cross-stitching, I did some on a Valentine's card (and I entered it into Shopping our Stash too!).
