A VERY Scrappy Father's Day Card & Re-runs

Do you recall my CASE of blog friend, Ila, on May 21st post? Yep, the Karen Foster dp on this card was the 1" x12" scrap from those 6 cards. I cut the strip in half, and created a card around it. The repeated "Happy Father's Day" is computer generated. Is there an award for using an entire sheet of 12"x12" and NO teensy scraps even thrown away? The square tile is EK Success, the brads are DCWV, the red-orange cs is BAzzill, and the card base is Magenta cs. After I finished the card I thought it was...well, what rhymes with scrappy? My mom saw it today and really liked it (aren't mom's great? But believe me, even though she told me I sang beautifully when I was 5 yo, I'm not trying out for American Idol!)

These last two cards are a re-run from my previous post (below Blog candy contest post). I changed the sentiments; "happy birthday" is AC and "Congratulations" is BG. I also distressed the yellow cs and the AC dp with black ink.

i do believe there must be some award... perhaps the "the scrap-less award" or "i used it alllllll up award"

i see the ticket corner punch has been employed :-) as well as an embossing folder... love it all!

Love that Karen Foster DP! I always feel very accomplished when I use up every last bitty scrap - just don't always have the time to do it - it seems. You will have to post your clipboards when they are done :o)

i say we MAKE UP a suitable honor for the occasion! perhaps the june houck award for efficiency in scrapification? ok, that's a bit of a mouthful. howsabout i can't believe i scrapped THE WHOLE THING??! :)

as far as "rhymin' with scrappy" i can only assume you mean "HAPPY" ...or possibly...persuing the father's day theme..."PAPPY" because i am definitely *not* yer mama and I LOOOOOOOOOVE THIS CARD!!!!!!!!!! seriously. a *LOT*!!!!!!!!

(ps: when *YOU* are on american idol...i will start watching it!) :)
