My grandmother, whom I call "Memere", had knee replacement surgery12 days ago. She is a remarkable woman because of her high tolerance for pain (that I did not inherit.) She was out of the hospital and moved to rehab 1.5 days earlier than the norm. She was expected to be at rehab for 8-10 days. She was there for four days and she is home :)
I started this card yesterday and finished it this morning. I was going to send it, but I will see her this weekend so I will pack it in my suitcase.
This card is 100% Stampin' Up! stamps, punches, ribbons, top note die, papers, dimensionals, and inks. The only non-SU! item are the flat back pearls; they are rhinestone stickers from Michael's.

This is soooo pretty! I may need to CASE it. Did you use the Fundamental Phrases set? I held off getting that because of the price, plus, I'd never stamp them straight ..., but it is still on my wish list.
This is so sweet and elegant! I love all the detail..........d
What a beautiful card, and its style is keeping with your blog's name: simply elegant! Another great job!
Wow...this is STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL and I love it! I hope your Memere is feeling better...send her some get well wishes from me ♥♥♥
June, your card is so very beautiful... Love this image... the colors are so pretty! Hugs from Silke
well helllllllllllllllllo gorgeous!!!
holy moly! i ♥LOVE♥ this card! i'm with leslie...i wanna CASE it, too! oof...except i think the "E" stands for "exactly" and of course i never do ANYTHING exactly...even when i WANT TO...especially then! :) (also i have NONE of the stuff!)
so i think i will have to *MASC* it instead: "make a similar card...by virtue of stealin' some bits and cheatin' on others!"
(yes technically, that'd be *MASCBVOSSBACOO*...which is VERY difficult to pronounce after several doses of benadryl, and thus i took the liberty of shortening it.) :)
gorgeous!!! I love the colors
jusst absolutely gorgeous!! i'm with leslie - this is totally case-worthy!
Well done Memere on a swift recovery. This is a beautiful card which I'm sure will be greatly appreciated. It's probably best not to risk getting it squished in the post.
Many thanks for the tip about aligning brads. I really love Stampin Up stuff... I keep wondering about becoming a demonstrator, but I don't know anyone whom I would demo/sell to!
Chrissie
