Mojo Monday Mermaid

If you have followed me for a while, you may know that Julee is my sketch idol. This is week 105! I knew I had to use this Mermaid Tilda sent to me by blog friend Kristie. I used my BasicGrey Marrakesh papers for the first time. I resisted them...didn't think I needed them...who was I kidding? LOL. I also used this new Labels Nestie; love this shape :)

I think if I try this again I will try circles vs. ovals. Advice? She could use a sentiment too; any input?

Beautiful June, such a sweet Tilda and so perfectly coloured too. I love the way you've emulated the fish scales at the bottom, a master stroke! Re the nesties, not sure on that one, would have to see her against both, not that I'm one for sitting on the fence you understand LOL!!! Hugs, Chris xx

Beautiful card June. love the basic grey Marrakesh and the Tilda stamp is adorable. She reminds me of The little mermaid in Cobenhagen.

this is awesome, you can't beat BG no matter what, imo!!! (resistance *IS* futile!!!) :)

i love the ovals, they're a slightly more whimsical look than circles & perfect for that cute tilda stamp from miss kristy. i think you could go w/just about ANY narrow horizontal sentiment...there's the perfect spot for it on the green band: anything from "hello" to "missing you" to a birthday greeting!

(i often leave un-earmarked cards w/o a sentiment until the time of sending, it makes them more flexible!)
