Silke-Kay Inspiration by EK Success & Spellbinders Enabler Alert

Here is Riley Moose (or Spa Sophie) colored with my copics to coordinate with my BasicGrey Lime Rickey papers. On January 21, 2010 I had the most inspirational start to my morning. I perused my blog reader and two of my favorite people had some serious eye candy. I saw these two cards by Silke K. and then this card by Kay. My card today was inspired by the second card in Silke's post. I had not seen that EK Success border punch, or so I thought...
I met my Design Diva pal, Deanna, at Michaels and she helped me find it. I had seen this punch, but it didn't do anything for me until I saw Silke & Kay's cards. Of course I had to have it! I have it out on my craft table because my 4 drawers of punches (mostly EK Success) are overflowing. January was a very good month! Deanna sent out an enabler alert email that JoAnn's now carries Spellbinders in their stores. I grabbed my 40% coupon and purchased the set pictured above. Sweet!

That punch IS really cute when you use it. You just can't see it from looking at the punch itself. Thanks for keeping me 'famous' via your blog ;)

Nice haul! I have 2 EK Success punches still in their packages, both of the large scallop variety. I'll actually USE it one day, I hope! ;-)

Your Riley card is darling, June! I, too, love that punch (don't have it YET though) and the Labels Nine (just got it this week...and I even used it already!). Glad you scored on the price --makes it even sweeter. ;)

Punches are so much fun, and this one adds so much to the card. Great design and Riley looks comfy and cozy.

I love this card June!! I love love love the punch. I saw it a couple of weeks ago but wasn't sure what it'd look like punced out. Oh I *might* just have to go back and have another look. It *might* find it's way home to my house!!

oh wow! i love the way you've fused the ideas from all three gorgeous cards and yet totally made your very OWN THING! ♥ that punch is fab, as well, i love scallops and ruffles and curves--they just automatically "jazz up" any card--as you've so cleverly proven here! :)
