"It's a beautiful day" may seem an odd sentiment to go with an umbrella, but both my husband and I love rain storms. My dear friend and DT sister, Courtney Lee (Court's Crafts) also loves a rainy day, so I know my dh & I are not the only ones who enjoy them :)
Court has inspired me in so many ways during the past two years. It was she who inspired me with her Cricut cards, uses of the i-rock tool by Imaginisce, and her My Mind's Eye cards/LOs/projects. Court also was the one to tell me about the great prices at Shop Pumpkin Spice, where I purchased the My Mind's Eye papers, twine, sentiment sticker, and i-rock to create this card.
My Mind's Eye has been a long-time favorite for me, but right now this Miss Caroline line is all I want to play with. Court made an adorable card (click to see it!) last August using this same umbrella cut and My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two papers. The umbrella cut is from the Cricut "Cake Basics" cartridge which is not available for purchase because it comes with the Cricut Cake machine. Yep, I purchased a Cricut Cake machine for the sole purpose of owning this cartridge. I had to have this umbrella! Truly, it is a terrific cartridge and I think this will rival both "Plantin Schoolbook" and "Accent Essentials" as my most used cartridge. Thanks, Court!
Our move is going well, though slower than I anticipated. If all goes well, I should be unpacking my craft room while you are reading this post. I have made only two cards since the move and it has been challenging trying to find coordinating card stock and embellishments, but at least I was able to play with some *new* My Mind's Eye papers!
Supplies (with links embedded):
paper: My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline "Dilly Dally"; grey card stock from my scraps; white card stock
mirror gems: i-rock glam rocks
layered sticker sentiment: My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two
twine: My Mind's Eye Out of the Blue "Playful"
raindrops: Glossy Accents
Cricut cartridge: Cake Basics p.53 cut @ 3 1/4"
Cuttlebug embossing folder: Polka Dots
Happy Thursday! Now get your wish list and Shop Pumpkin Spice :)

June it is so good to see that your are making progress. Your card is wonderful. I don't know how you are doing it all. Amazing! I love rainy day too. Today I had to go out in it and I didn't like that plus I got a sinus headache from the weather. I love it when I can just stay home and stamp. I hope all you move is going well.
This is fantastic June! The colors and papers are so fun:) I am sure you are excited to get back to crafting...I look forward to more of your awesome creations:)

I'm with you, lady, looove storms and even all the sounds that go with it. Not sure why, but we could get some doooozies while I was growing up, more than a mile above sea level. The papers you used on this adorable creation are wonderful, and I TOTALLY ADORE that umbrella and its raindrops!!
I LOVE love LOVE a rain storm and will greatly miss it in Arizona. Your card is fabulous, those pattern papers are beautiful!!! :-)
While cruising blogs this morning, I came across this super cute card. We love rainstorms around here too, as long as we don't lose power.
Your home and craft room will be a great place to be when it's all done I'm sure. You should post pics of your craft room when you're ready...I need ideas for mine, running out of where to put everything...lol.
Have a great day!
