Cuttlebug Challenges- Be Inspired # 36

Have you been to Cuttlebug Challenge? Their weekly challenges are called "Be Inspired", which is really appropriate, I think. This week's challenge is to create a masculine card. I decided to make a long card now that I know how to use my embossing folders on a long piece of cardstock without getting those nasty unwanted score lines. Want to know the secret? Cuttlebug Challenge has a "how to" right here. Want to see how I did? Look below:
Is that awesome, or what?

It has rained all day today, so my pictures are a little shoddy.

Happy Wednesday!

Ya know, I read that tutorial and it never registered until I actually tried it myself just now. After my first swipe in the CB, I lined up the bottom half with a row of the diamonds (I used the same folder you did) and if I ran over it again, it did not flatten out! Yay!

Now, of course, I am looking at my fabulously embossed piece of card stock and thinking, "NOW what?", but this too shall pass. :-)

Thanks for the push to try the technique myself!

Yep, that is definitely awesome! Every time you do one of these Cuttlebug challenges you make me want a 'bug more and more!!! If I end up buying one today it will be all your fault for making such gorgeous cards!

not being up on cuttlebug mechanics the niceties of this is slightly wasted on me...but i can definitely see how helpful it'd be to be able to seamlessly emboss a panel that's longer than an e/f...and the resulting card you've made with said experiment is GORGEOUS, also!!!
