Drink Coaster Calendars, versions 3 & 4

You may recall I wanted to make 20 mini desk calendars as teacher gifts for Christmas. My first two are in my December 12th post. I did get those delivered before winter break (before the big snow), but I have not made any more until today.

I don't have a lot of this SU Raspberry Tart paper, and I calculate that I could make 6 more calendars (total; 3 of each version shown above). I was brain dead, design-wise. With the help of my sweet friend, Tracy, this is what she and I came up with. It is a lot of fussy cutting, but I like 'em! Do you see that fun shape behind the fussy cut stamped flowers on the left? That is the SU ornament punch (upside down). That was one of Tracy's ideas! Fab friend, isn't she?

My finger tips are sore trying to put in the jump rings. I have learned that I have no talent for using pliers :) I am determined to get all 6 of these completed today. That will make 8 finished, 12 to go...

Great teachers gift. Teachers in USA is more fortunate than Norwegian teachers. We don't give the x-mas gift...
I have something for you in my blog.

Well I admire your determination to make all those calendars June, I'd have run away screaming from that :D but they are absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure the teachers will love them. Hope you had a great Christmas and wishing you and your family a very happy new year. Hugs, Chris

Wow, aren't you a little Energizer bunny! Pretty gifts AND practical.

I cannot do jump rings - can never get them to close properly. I think I might try these, but use mini hinges instead.

oh june - first of all - they're looking a-dorable. and that you give me any credit..well seriously... it's silly - but i thank you regardless. i have to say those teachers are in for a treat and will probably appreciate them even more when they receive them now than they might've before. so it works out even nicer! your poor fingers tho... not much of a needle nose plier girl here either (perhaps next year we can come up with something bind-it-all-ish? :-))
