Just kidding. We already have 10.5" of snow on the ground and we may get a little more today. My dds have only been to school 2 days in the past 2 weeks. Our neighborhood streets have not been plowed, but we did venture out to the grocery store last night and the main roads are fine...dry even! I might as well make an appropriate card, right?
Amy Tsuruta (who is as talented as she is lovely) designed this sketch for this week's challenge at Jingle Belles challenge blog. It is so much fun to create one Christmas card each week without the stress of the holiday approaching. This is only my second time participating, but I hope to play as often as possible so I will have fewer cards to make when autumn nears.
This week's challenge at Stamp Something is Winter Somethings.

You finished this challenge beautifully! I love the colors you used and that Ornament is simply gorgeous!!
yeah June!!!!! I love your card...the simplicity and the elegance are perfect! I adore the ornament {and the ornament hanger, is that what it is called?} and the embossing is fabulous...
Good grief, you are socked in with the snow...I couldn't begin to imagine what that is like...we have a ton of rain:)
Thanks for playing...love your take on the sketch!
oof! don't be throwing "the S word" around like that missus...even in jest...we got A FOOT in the last round! arrrgh!!!
on the other hand, if snow looked as AWESOME in real life as it does on your gorgeous card...i miiiiiiiiight reconsider my stance on this matter 'cause ♥WOW♥!!! that is just soooooo incredible beautiful... it's "simply elegant" in fact! :) AT sketch + JH skillz = ♥PERFECTION♥!
June this card is so lovely. I love the color.....so soft and gentle....not at all like the snowstorm you guys just had. I heard it was heavy and brutal.
Love it, and you are so quick! Love the stitching. Adds that perfect touch.
Great sponged edges and use of the ornament as your focal!
this is a such a lovely card
*swoon* Just lovely! And you were FIRST this week! :)
Beautiful card!
Love the embossing and the ornament!
TFS!
Love that big beautiful ornament ... and the pierced border (I just never seem to have the patience to add piercing to my cards ... but I always admire it so much when I see others do it well) ... glad you're enjoying the "non-stress" pace of holiday cards (we sure are) ... thanks for joining our jingle belle journey.
I love the piercing and it is lined up perfectly! Beautiful card.
Love the soft colours you've used for this very pretty card.
Oh my...you are very brave posting this title...lol Especially with all the snow you guys are getting in the northeast. My older sister Bonnie sent me a photo of how much snow they have in Boscawen, NH and you can't even see the windows in her basement. Told her that it will help keep the house warm...she didn't appreciate my good sentiments...lol Have a wonderful weekend. Fondly, Roberta
Your ornament is just beautiful and the embossed background is just perfect for it. Super cute take on the sketch.
Hope that you're no longer snowed in!
