Using Vintage Stash

I am a huge fan of using my old stash to create as much as I enjoy using fun new papers.  I wanted to participate in this week's Jingle Belles challenge:  create a card celebrating all things vintage.  I also went in search of a great sketch, and I found it at Sketch N Stash: #30 (this week is challenge #60; use ANY sketch).  Ironically enough, when I was purging my craft room in January, I think I gave away all my vintage Christmas papers.  Then I remembered that I taught a mini book class a few years ago and that I had a kit leftover from that class.  I made the mini book, then used the scraps to make my card!  I added one new item to my card:  the Hero Arts adhesive lace.  The rest is neglected stash:  mini buttons, MM mini brads, K& Co. metal art ("Peace" embellie), K&Co. Red Patchwork paper and Holiday Traditions paper, NRN Gold Parchment, and Memories Complete Christmas vellum (quotes).

Here is the cover of the completed  mini book:
 the first page:
 pages 2&3:
 pages 4 & 5:
(I won't post all 12 pages!)  Here is the inside back cover:
Happy National Scrapbook Day!  I will be celebrating Mother's Day today with my grandma, my mom, and my aunt.  I'll be back late this afternoon to *hopefully* join in some National Scrapbook Day fun :)

Lucky you to have that kit stashed. It looks like you put a lot of love into creating it. So glad you were able to use the extras to make such a special card. Vintage in more ways than one!
