World Card Making Day: Core'dinations

What?  No patterned paper?  When I learned to stamp a dozen years ago, patterned paper was rarely used.  We stamped our own backgrounds and embossed.  This was before Core'dinations!  I love their textured card stock...it was made for dry embossing :)

This card is 100% Core'dinations card stock.  The D'Vine Swirls is on black magic color core card stock. The two orange colors, the green, and the off-white are all Core'dinations as well.  This Core'dinations color challenge is in honor of World Card Making Day and the prize is two packs of core!

My Big Shot is making a very funny noise all of a sudden...I wasn't even sure that I would be able to finish this card.  It won't crank right to left, and makes an AWFUL noise when I crank right to left.  Oh, the humanity!  At least my Cricut is in fine working order and I am well-stocked in adhesive :)

Supplies:
paper:  Core'dinations color core card stock
Cricut cartridges:  Sophie pumpkin (p.70 cut @ 4"); Straight from the Nest grass (p.41 cut @ 1 1/2")
stamp:  My Pink Stamper Spook-alicious
embossing folders:  Cuttlebug "D'Vine Swirl", "Distressed Stripes", and "Herringbone"
flower:  Stampin' Up! Boho Blossoms punch

Happy World Card Making Day!

Love your pumpkin card with all the Core! Isn't it awesome that Core allows you to create such beautiful details and no patterned paper neccesary?! Love that! ;)
Your textures here are perfect :)

I love using embossing folders too. Sometimes I feel like I'm missing out by not using my patterned paper! And yet sometimes, embossing is quite enough! Please stop by and see the card I made for my daughter's birthday, using embossing folders. TFS!!--Pat N.
