I need to take a little break of using little scraps and do a little mass production . I went back to this designer paper pack from Stampin' Up! I used a little to make a few cards around Mother's Day earlier this year.
I made 6 cards like this. I originally wanted to put the scalloped circle/sentiment in the bottom center instead of bottom left. But the words "Stampin' Up! 2006" were in that corner. Ack! I had to cover it up, then I added the 3 Making Memories brads for balance. (This is from the fabulous Julee's Monday Mojo Sketches, #7.)
I like it even better than my original plan. My mom often says, "Sometimes when things don't work out, they really do." Yep. Works for me :)
The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp, using SU! chocolate chip ink. See you tomorrow :) Thank you for stopping by!

I had a mild panic attack when i read the title of the post...i thought for a moment there would be no pretty cards to look at. thank goodness it's only a break from using scraps!!!
The card is just gorgeous! I love that dp and have some in my stash...might have to go dig it out and see what i can do :)
I have gobs of that DS paper! I like what you did with "not scraps". ;-)
