Last year when I saw the DCWV Garden Party pad, I had to have it. I showed it to my mother, who did not immediately love it. The first card I made with these papers is here. When my mother saw that card, she had to buy her own Garden Party pad :)
Last autumn, my mother made this card (below) with her Garden Party papers. I was so inspired, I made the card (above). Round Robin inspiration!
I found the dew drops on the flower centers to be genius inspiration. Thanks, Mom!
Ooh those cards are both really beautiful, June. You were right about the papers, such pretty colours. Nice that your Mum is a crafter too - you can "borrow" each other's stash!!
Gorgeous paper and both cards are SO beautiful!! How fun that your Mom is a paper crafter and even more fun that you can inspire each other!!!!! You are both talented!! ♥♥ Kay
Love the Round Robin thing! :-)
WOW and DOUBLE WOW! It sounds like your mom is a big fan of your work. She must have been very surprised to see her card posted! Great job!
I tried the dew drops on some of my cards, and they add a big punch! Beautiful card, and I'm sure your mom is touched by showing her card.
How wonderful that you can share your ideas with your mom. Your card is just as beautiful as the one who made it.
I found your site through Corie...and she is right, you do have some beautiful creations!!! This one especially makes me want to have those papers!!! TFS!!
Love it and I am loving seeing what you come up with next. you rock. Thank you June >:D<
so pretty sweetie. i haven't been by your blog for a while and was reading - i'm so sorry to read about Martha. I'm glad you had a chance to visit with the other supremes though.
Absolutely stinkin' awesome!! I love that you have a special relationship with your mom - I don't, so I hope to let other people know how very fortunate they are! ;~>
