You Are Fabulous & Get Well Soon

I used up a little stash!

See, what happened was...
I am still inspired to try to use up these scrap dps from this old SU! set. I actually did not buy these papers; I took a class from Sue (Inky Images)many, many months ago using these papers, and these are the scraps from that class. (I think the multiply when I'm not looking.)

My DCWV card box only has lots of orange cards, 8 green cards, 1 pink, 1 black, and 2 brown. I am waiting for Michael's to put them on sale for 50% off, but they have not done that recently. I may have to break down and use a 40% coupon next week. (Hey, I told you I am frugal!) The pink cards in that box coordinate well with this dp, so I'd rather make a set rather than just one card because I need to load up the card baskets at Greenberry's for August this Friday (pay day!)

So I went in my card & coordinating envelope drawer and found these two MM latch cards. The yellow cards coordinate well with the dp, dontcha think? So my "set" only consisted of two cards, but I used it up :)

The two sentiments are Creative Imaginations rub-ons. The circle stamp "friend" is a SU! stamp. I used dimensionals for the scallop circle and carefully placed it so it looked like it is attached to the latch, but it actually just hides it sort of liked a match book opening.

Yet, another example of your creativity and inspiration of using what is on-hand. The cards are charming, and the unique closure is eye catching!

Great job!

Sigh...ANOTHER perfect example of how I COULD be using my stash, but I am not. Keep it up! I may snap one day and work on the scraps. ;-)
