Yep, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today. Six more weeks of winter. I hope I look as cute as he does when I am 120 years old :)
I have mentioned before I try to store my dps by manufacturer. When I taught classes at Memories, our class kits came in large ziploc bags. I keep the scraps from those classes in their original ziploc bags, which is usually also a single manufacturer, but also because the scraps coordinate; no thinking for me. Today's card is from scraps of that class I taught in 2006 (the jellies, the MM metal embellie, and the Bo Bunny dps.) I wanted a light color cs for the base card, and I found a scrap big enough to cut 8.5"x5.5" in my "browns" scrap bag. In the class I taught, we distressed the papers with acrylic paint. I was too lazy to pull out my paint brush and paint, so I distressed with a CTMH cranberry ink pad.
Happy Groundhog Day!!!

I love the color combos! And, of course, I like the distressing. And the metal embellishment----WOW!..........Deanna
This is awesomely gorgeous! Love these colours and the embellies. You're mojo is definitely flowing right now ♥
Really nice! And you spelled Phil's name correctly, too! I totally hacked it when I posted somewhere this evening. :-)
Love the hardware on this one, so beautiful
this is really lovely! i am not generally drawn to "muted" colors...but then i see what YOU do with them...and "BRIGHT" starts to look gaudy and over-rated... :)
