Freezer paper technique & tutorial

I love trying new things!  On Monday I learned how to use freezer paper to create a stencil (tutorial here at Betty Bee's Buzz).  For my shirt I used my circuit cartridge "Wall Decor & More" to cut the butterfly, then I used Tulip fabric paints to paint the butterfly.  But I didn't stop there:
I have had these pictures set aside to do a LO and Betty's freezer paper technique was just the inspiration I needed!  I took a paper napkin from our July 4th party last year and ironed on the freezer paper:
When I cut it out, it sort of looks laminated.  I backed it with white card stock so that the Statue of Liberty and Constitution were more visible (less transparent.)  Who would guess this was a re-purposed napkin?

Do you love your Cricut?  Link up here; thanks, Bonnie!

AWWWWWWWWWWW there's my gorgeous Junegub!! LOOOOOOOOOVE that picture of you, swear to Jonah, it's the best! There's no way I would have EVER thought that was a repurposed NAPKIN! Stinkin love the layout, and it's perfect with/for those pictures!!! Thank you for coming in and commenting on my forward fitness progress! We've gone from eating 10% of our diet as fruits and veggies to around 73%, it's really, really something! I wasn't sure we'd do it! But wow we've reaped the benefits in all sorts of bodily systems ROTFL

Wow June, I love what you did here! What a great idea. More and more you are making me want to go out and buy a Circuit (and before I retired I worked for one of the largest craft importers in the world and could have gotten one at a great price... oh well!)
Have a Happy Day!

That's a really pretty way to add a butterfly to your shirt. :) Love the 4th of July napkin on your layout too. I've made a spiderman card with a napkin before - fun!
