Imagine Tim Holtz

(*2nd post today*  I actually made this card first)

I hope this blog title captured your attention!  Santa brought me a Cricut Imagine for Christmas, which I distressed with Tim Holtz "Vintage Photo" ink for dimension (and a little foam tape too.)

If you know me at all, you know that I suffer from great anxiety when it comes to technology...so I am immensely proud of this first card EVER using my Imagine.  A year ago I overcame my trepidation with the Cricut Expression (which currently I use nearly EVERY DAY that I craft.)  Now dh is asking me if I am going to sell the Expression since I now have the Imagine.  I don't have an answer for that, do you?

Learning this new machine is my newest challenge...and the Gypsy that Santa also brought!

Happy New Year!  Be safe.  I have a new year's resolution I will reveal on January 1st; I hope to see you then :)

Oh wow, you have been a good girl, lol! Yeah for you! You are going to love it!
My husband had asked me the same thing about my Expressions-but nope, gotta keep it. I even have the E2 but I still like being able to go back to the Expressions because I am so comfortable with it. Oh well, I am running out of room in my craft room though for these machines...I just got the sihlouette and eager to learn all about it.

Your card is awesome and I just love the design, distressing and beautiful butterfly:) Great job:) Enjoy your toys !! Happy New Year!!

Wow, June! What an awesome gift to receive! And your title certainly caught my attention... so different for you. I have hardly written a comment since before Christmas... just can't seem to get into it again... worn out I guess!
Happy New Year to you and your sweet family!

I love what you did with the inking and foam tape! Your card looks great! Have fun playing with you imagine (I don't have one of those YET), and Gypsy (I LOVE my Gypsy- which you will catch onto in no time). Looking forward to hearing your experiences with both of your new toys and seeing what you create with them! Happy New Year!

You'll love the Imagine, it's so versatile! I love printing out my own papers, I even create two-sided papers for making 3D objects. And with CCR, you can even scale the size of the Imagine patterns to match the size of your image. Congrats and enjoy your new toys!

Visiting from Jaihart Link Up Party. You did Tim Holtz proud with this. I've learned so much using my Gypsy that I've had for over a yr but only started to use a lot more this past 6 mths. Last yr my Gypsy had a security breach message on it. ProvoCraft replaced it with a new one and put my old serial # to the new one so I could still get the 5 free downloads that were available if you bought a Gypsy by Oct 2010.
