Do you like that magazine "Real Simple"? I do. Nice articles and organizational tips (I love to organize!)I'm still in search of mojo. Both designs use the scraps from an old card-making kit (see previous post). This first card I made two of using old stash:
Great Impressions card & envelope, MM rub-ons, and scrap cs.
For the second card I also used a GI card, Creative Imaginations rub-ons (the dots), and scrap cs.

So good you are using your scraps! I have a 3-foot-high pile of them that I may never plow through! I also have a stash of these GI embossed cards, so maybe I'll use them one of these days. ;-)

These cards are the perfect example of why your blog is called simply elegant (although I don't know how or why you came up with that name). You, Miss June, are the epitome of simple elegance...just gorgeous.
you know...when i see cards like this...i just think to myself, "lauren--you make stuff WAY TO COMPLICATED!!!" these are terrific...sometimes less REALLY IS more!!!!!!!!! (i know, i know--can ya believe it's ME sayin' that?! but it's hard to argue when the proof is in the pics baby!)
