Happy Father's Day Card + OCC sketch

This card is almost completely Stampin' Up!: So Saffron and Chocolate Chip papers and inks, Whisper White and Going Gray cardstock, the stamp, and the dimensionals. The brads are by American Crafts and the base card is Michael's Value Pack. Sketch courtesy of Our Creative Corner :)

So far, all my Father's Day cards use this same stamp. :-) I love this paper, and have hoarded it, of course.

Thank goodness the rain stopped and it is another nice day today. I'm gonna go pick me a few 'maters from my hanging plant before the squirrels get them first!

now see, *THIS* is the epitome of "simply elegant" cardmaking: i ♥love♥ the clean lines. i love how it's perfectly simple and each ingredient is allowed to show and to shine!

(just b/c i personally CANNOT DO THIS to save my life, doesn't mean i don't love it when other ppl do it brilliantly!!) ♥♥♥
